Is it wrong to ask someone to love you just as you are?

It is really unfortunate to realize as an adult that no one will ever love you like your parents and being a good parent actually does your child a disservice, in the long run, creating unrealistic expectations from lovers and friends. I am very lucky to have parents who loved me. Loved the whole of me.
