Sad I can't do the workshop but grateful it's because I'll be visiting with my mother that day. As I'm sure you know, this was a great time for these heartfelt and at times humorous reminders!

I read the bit by Tara at the top thinking hmmm. Then at the end of Carissa's piece, she drops Tara's name and work. Great setup.

I have Tara's book, and yes, sometimes, I do just buy the lilys.

I've been slacking in my reading since the first part of November, but going back for this was worth it.

There's nothing worse than someone telling you to be grateful when you need to feel heard. But there's nothing better than being reminded gratitude is contagious even when you want to hate on it!

I practice it differently through Mudita (or Loving-kindness) meditation. It's not something I write on paper enough, but when I am frustrated with someone I always offer up gratitude for them by visualizing them as a child, and an adult, experiencing moments of joy and success.

The more I can hold onto that visual the happier I can be in myself and even practice it better visualizing my own joy and success. I even have Mudita tattooed on my arm. 😂
