Finally a use of AI that would be of value! So exciting to hear about Grace's work, and the drawings are so good and helpful too. Thanks Carissa for all your work
I spent seven years seeking mental health treatment before I was able to find and connect with a therapist, for which I had to pay out of pocket for. It's a sad state we're in that treating our mental health is such a hard task!
Hi Carissa! Im from Singapore and felt the same way when i went through the patient questionnaire - redundant and inaccurate because it is self-reported, thank you for sharing the article!
I learned so much from your conversation with Grace. Her work definitely gives me some hope for the future of technology. Also, totally resonate with the struggle to find the right mental health practitioners. When I had Kaiser and was struggling, pretty much all they could direct me to was a group class. It can be so frustrating, and I’m so glad there are people like Grace who are trying to change the system. Thank you for giving her a platform. I would love a copy of your book Carissa <3
hey Carissa, i’d seriously dig a copy of your book. and as one PHQ9 questionnaire taker to another, i stick that shit up with a
magnet on the refrigerator like it was a Thanksgiving hand turkey drawing done by a 6-year old and demand that people admire it when my numbers swing into the “acceptable” zone. it’s the only way to live 💜
Yes please I’d love a copy of your book! I only recently accepted that I’m an emotional person, so there’s an undiscovered world opening up for me - it can be so overwhelming but also beautiful at the same time.
as both a therapist and person who experiences depression I would LOVE to get away from the PHQ. and would love a copy of your book :)
