I rather think growth is about acknowledging that we are not perfect & being okay with that. And wanting to be better without being obsessed with it. Think about it this way- if children did not wish to grow (mentally & emotionally) they would be kids in their minds forever.

Wonderful interview. I would add that growth and death are duals, and perhaps better duals than the more typical pairing of life and death. By dual, I mean they are aspects of the same process of regeneration and (hopefully) evolution; one cannot exist without the other; neither is whole on its own.
